DECATUR, Ga. (Nov. 23, 2020) – Men Stopping Violence (MSV) is proud to announce Aaron Sampson as the new executive director of the Decatur-based non-profit. For over 30 years, MSV has focused on ending gender-based violence by educating and organizing men and community.
Sampson, a veteran in Atlanta’s non-profit community, brings extensive knowledge in fundraising and organizational development. Sampson has worked and led non-profits of various sizes for over 25 years. His experience and strong network will assist MSV with its plans to expand the organization’s reach.
“I’m proud to join an organization taking a unique approach to interrupting the cycle of abuse,” said Sampson. “We don’t have a lot of organizations enlisting and holding men accountable for their role in this deadly cycle. The staff at Men Stopping Violence are well-respected for their work and I’m excited to lead them into the next chapter.”
“Aaron has given a lot to the Atlanta community and we look forward to seeing his skills enhance the work we’re doing at Men Stopping Violence,” said Ulester Douglas, associate director at MSV.
