Men Stopping Violence’s top priority is always the safety of our program participants, staff and the broader community. Recognizing the need to promote social distancing, our offices have closed until such time that it is safe to do otherwise. Our staff remains committed to engaging men and communities to take action to end violence against women and girls. We understand that during this uncertain time our services are needed more than ever, which is why we are now using digital tools to provide them. Our 24 week classes are being offered virtually and we are still accepting applications for those classes. We have added a new free offering, the Coping Check-ins, that provide an opportunity for men to connect with each other and talk about what’s working and what’s not working during this challenging time.

We are also moving forward in our search for a new executive director. If you are interested in joining our team, learn more about the role here. To stay up to date on Men Stopping Violence and our programs, follow us on social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) and visit our website. If you have a question or concern that needs an immediate response you can call us at (404) 270-9894 or e-mail us at

Please be safe and well and kind during this time!

Shelley Serdahely
